Developing the Next Generation of Rainmakers Want to unlock the secrets of client development? Several times I have given a presentation to law firms on “Unlocking the Secrets of Client Development.” I like the title because it is catchy, but truthfully, there are no secrets. Selling yourself and your firm is not rocket science. It is mostly hard work and using your common sense to become a “go to” lawyer in your field and build high trust relationships. Here are tips on how to do it and things to avoid doing. Do’s Don’ts     I practiced law for 37 years developing a national construction law practice representing some of the top highway and transportation construction contractors in the US.
